The Good Food Box
The Good Food BoxGlenview is a drop off location for "The Good Food Box."
This program fits in with Glenview's goal of Transformative Partnerships -- pursuing partnerships with community groups and outreach into our North Toronto community. The Good Food Box is one way that Glenview can participate in this mission.
Foodshare, a not for profit Toronto organization buys fruits and vegetables directly from farmers and from the Ontario Food Terminal. Only top quality, fresh produce is selected. Volunteers pack the food into boxes then their drivers deliver "The Good Food Boxes" to approximately 200 drop-off locations across Toronto.
Glenview takes deliveries on every other Thursday.  Pickup time is between 4-7pm.  There are also people available to drive the boxes of fresh produce to you, if it is not possible to get to the church on a Thursday.  Please bring your own shipping bags.
To learn more about the program, the types of boxes that can be ordered, as well as the cost please contact the church office, or speak with Norma or David McIntyre, Barbara Hepburn, or Lindsey Hepburn.
