Rev. Derek Macleod

Derek James Macleod was born in Nova Scotia.  He attended the University of King’s College, Dalhousie University and Knox College.

 

Ordained in 2000, Derek first served a Presbyterian Church in Beaconsfield, Quebec.  In 2007 he came to Glenview Church as senior minister.

 

Derek has been actively involved in the Church’s ministry with refugees and relief and development (PWS&D) and has been exposed to and inspired by, the Church’s partners and ministry in Central America and East Africa.  

 

He also served on the ecumenical jury for the Montreal World Film Festival and has been a key note speaker for youth conferences in Canada and the U.S.
